We are seeking an experienced OR Manager / Director, for a unique and rewarding 2-year assignment (renewable), to oversee the management of their Operating Rooms. OR Manager
Reporting directly to a great CNO, the OR Manager oversees the operation of Surgical Services; monitoring staff performance, collaborating with other hospital units, and ensuring quality, staffing, and budget targets are met. The Manager measures patient outcomes and adjusts programs and services to achieve expected clinical, quality and service delivery outcomes within the department and organization. The Manager establishes collaborative and productive relationship with the physicians.
Seeking an individual with demonstrated leadership skills and a collaborative, adaptable, creative and accountable management style. Transparent communication with strong interpersonal and team building skills are essential.
Requirements:
- BSN; Master’s Degree in related field highly desirable
- 10 years of clinical surgical nursing experience
- 5 years of current experience as a hospital Manager or Director
- Current Registered Nurse License within your state of practice
- Current CPR, ACLS/PALS (if applicable, per facility requirement)
- CNOR and other advanced certifications highly desirable

- The candidate will have to be approved by the local Nursing Council
- The candidates will be eligible for provisional registration and licensure when they have obtained qualifications (current nursing license) from the following countries: Australia, Canada, Jamaica, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom and the United States.
