Reporting directly to an exceptional CNO, the Director oversees the nursing operation of the Telemetry department; monitoring staff performance, collaborating with other hospital units, and ensuring quality, staffing, and budget targets are met. The Director measures patient outcomes and adjusts programs and services to achieve expected clinical, quality and service delivery outcomes within the department and organization.
Requirements:
- BSN; Master’s Degree in related field highly desirable
- 3 years of clinical nursing experience in med-surg, telemetry, ICU or CCU
- 2 years of current experience as a hospital Manager or Director
- Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice
- Current CPR, ACLS/PALS (if applicable, per facility requirement)
- CCRN and other advanced certifications highly desirable
