This is a remarkable opportunity for an experienced hospital Laboratory Director or Manager to join a hospital that is part of a growing region affiliated with a quality focused healthcare system.
Reporting directly to a fantastic COO, the Director of Lab will support service line growth and increase lab access points in the surrounding community. On a day-to-day basis, they will responsible for and direct Laboratory functions in a cost efficient, effective manner while keeping quality care and service to patients as the primary goal. This role directs, establishes, and plans the overall policies and goals for the hospital’s laboratory services. The ideal leader for this role will be one who is an inclusive, participatory team builder and enjoys growing laboratory services.
This role is located in a mid-size Midwestern community that is safe, affordable and has good schools. It is near a domestic airport, has numerous universities in the area and offers a variety of dining, shopping and entertainment experiences.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 5-10 years’ laboratory experience in acute care hospital setting
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in laboratory
- ASCP certification preferred
