Our client, a leading healthcare system, is searching for a Director of Nursing (DON) Med/Surg/Telemetry for one of their hospitals near Atlanta. We are looking for a nursing leader who can manage, inspire, and collaborate. First, this DON will be responsible to ensure compliance with standards / regulations while managing their budget. Second, they will be tasked with inspiring their team in the quest for continuous improvement in patient care, patient satisfaction, safety, quality, and staff development. Finally, this Director will collaborate with others to attain facility goals, improve processes and procedures, and coordinate with other units involved in patient care. Qualifications:
- RN – active license required (Georgia)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- MSN highly desirable
- Telemetry experience required
- 2+ years of Med / Surg acute care hospital Manager or Director experience
- CCRN, PCCN and other advanced certifications highly desirable
