As part of the Executive Management team, the COO will lead strategic, growth and operational objectives on a broad basis across hospital operations. Additionally, they will utilize expertise and administrative knowledge to facilitate, measure, evaluate and interpret needs of patients and performance of staff while directing activities accordingly. Included in this role is the need for strategic planning, policy making, general administration and promoting positive relations among the medical staff and hospital personnel.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years as acute care hospital COO or CEO (50+ beds)
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or Business preferred
- Current knowledge of Joint Commission, state, and federal guidelines, regulations and standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced skills in financial management.
